I decided that in this first post, I would simply list some of my favorite authors. Then I thought it would be fun to open the floor for all of you to let us all know what your favorite authors and books are.
I love series. 8, 10 or 12 books that basically tell one long story are the best. My favorite authors include: Anne Rice

to name just a few. I just love to read. When a book is well written, I lose myself in the story. With some stories I even find myself thinking in the way the characters speak. With Stephen Kings Dark Tower Series
, I even catch myself using words and phrases from the books, out loud. Let me tell you, people who have never read that series give me some very strange looks.
